August 2026, Sadly no significant trips for various reasons, so here some pictures in and around Cape Town from June 24 to Aug 26.
Equipment previously and still current for general photos: Pana Lumix G9ii with a variety of low F stop lenses. I still think this is a wonderful, in the hand, camera body & system.
For Birds I am now using the, (Prev Olympus) – now called OM systems OM1ii with the M Zuiko 150-400, with internal zoom, F4.5 lens, with built in clutch to take you up to 500 – Micro 4 thirds = 1000 metre range. A beautiful piece of glass.
